It is a free event for the fans. I don't know if GatorCountry.com is having a free BBQ and pep rally across University Avenue from the stadium this year, but I really enjoyed it. It was nice to hear the GC staff talk and the BBQ was excellent. As for the FNL event itself, take some ear plugs. The event is for the high school players, not the fans. They pipe loud rap and other contemporary "music" at high decibels. The nice thing is that you can get perfect seats if you want. I sat about on the 50 about 40 rows up. It would be a lot more interesting if the AA would provide a program with the player's numbers on them so that you could tell who was doing what. I suppose if you wanted to, pictures of the top recruits would allow you to perhaps figure out who is doing the drills. The negative aside, I would still go again this year, but I am coming down in August for a grand re-opening of the Wesley Foundation in Gainesville and I don't want to make two trips from PA. For me, it was just great to be back in Gainesville, walk the stadium and remember the good old days.
