I won mine while a guest of great, late Gator Charlie Guy at the Jacksonville Gator Club meeting; and Charlie bought my ticket. He is the father of fellow GatorNet member Terri Guy and husband of her mother, Diane Guy. It's not for sale. SOS is not the reason I'm a Gator. I grew up in Jacksonville and you were either a dawg or a Gator. I became a childhood Gator. But, he was my quarterback as a Gator student fan from 1963 on. Later, after following his career through the pros, he became our coach and you know the rest of the story. He has still done more for UF football than any other Gator and we need to remember that. We need to also forever keep our present GatorNet Administrator in our prayers since his mother loved him enough to name him after SOS. A. Often times, they are just 1 or 2 injuries or 1 or 2 years from being able to contribute or even start at their respective position.
