The former Baltimore, Md., City College High receiver was rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and the 35th-best receiver in the country last year. Coxson was a part of a recruiting class that signed five wide receivers. With Coxson gone, Florida now has 11 scholarship receivers on its roster. Coxson is the second freshman to request to leave Florida's program this week. Safety Jordan Haden, brother of former All-American cornerback Joe Haden, was granted his release Monday.
