I think the 'journalists' from south Florida have been talking to Woody.
Seriously, he is going to monitor the tone of voice??? Just how is he going
to do that and what training or expertise does he have to provide such an
incredible analysis? And, regardless (or is that irregardless) :) no
matter what he says, it's probably not true. Jeesh!

This whole fiasco might make Urban want to reopen practice. With everyone
not knowing every detail of what is happening, rumors spread based on
sperious information. If practice had been open, this was maybe a one day
story.

"It will be interesting to hear how he explains it - if he explains it - but
it will be equally interesting to monitor his tone of voice and whether he
stays calm.

I highly doubt Meyer will launch another tirade like he did when he
confronted a reporter in spring. Most likely, he will say this is an
in-house matter. If asked directly about the two players threatening to
transfer, expect him to emphatically shoot it down (that doesn't mean it's
not true, though)."

4. Both players were at Wednesday's practice. Multiple reporters who hung
around outside the facility were firsthand witnesses to this.

Meyer mostly has been answering questions about injuries, the depth chart
and his own health during August. This will be his first big controversy
since his last big controversy (resigning and un-resigning in a 24-hour
period in December).

Both of these players, Powell at defensive end and Easley at defensive
tackle - got good reviews from the coaching staff during training camp and
are expected to be in the regular rotation of defensive linemen this season.
