To me, the nice thing about being a fan is that I don't have to stress out
about every detail of each player's performance. That's the coach's job.
When I get to see a great game and watch my guys thump another team (and
look good doing it) then I'm happy. I'm really happy right now because that
team last night was the Gator team I expected to see before the season
started. Not perfect, but using their assets. That was just flat-out fun to
watch. Okay, so Thompson dropped a pass again. So what? He caught a bunch
more. Do I think I care more about that dropped pass than he or his coaches
do? Not a chance. This is really hard stuff they do and they're not going to
be perfect, but they and their coaches will take care of trying to improve
so I don't need to spend the week agonizing over it. Odds are that we won't
beat Alabama next week, but the cool thing about this sport is that what
happened in earlier games won't really matter once they're facing off across
the line on Saturday. We are totally capable of winning if our players play
to their potential, if the coaches have a great game plan and call a great
game, and if a few breaks go our way. When Saturday comes, I just want our
kids to go out there, play hard, play well and have a great time. If they do
that, then I'll live with the result. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy
both the win over UK and the anticipation of what could be one of the best
games of the entire regular season. Go Gators!

Rob

Oh I loved the game, the result, the effort, and the improvement!

However, I doubt they are accepting that level, which is why all of their
quotes and those of the coaches always talk about getting better. They are
not complacent. Why should we be in voicing concern?

They are trying to fix it, trying to get better, and working hard. Go read
all the quotes... but an open forum generally allows people to speak their
minds, and I don't want to accept that level. And don't think the team wants
to either.

mediocrity as teammates, maybe some of us fans could take a lesson from
them.
