I guess you're saying - it can't be your fault - it must be all Steve's
fault - because now he is the administrator

At least we can all agree on something ...

Ok, ok... I guess my "everyone in the congregation said amen!" was out of
line. I realize now that Sister Hazel was searching through her purse for
her hanky, six teenagers on the back row were listening to hip-hop on their
iPods, four guys were gazing out the window dreaming of hunting season, and
I have to admit I was thinking about my next road trip on the bike. Not
exactly a consensus. :)

Cee,

Like most things, this whole sordid affair has a mushroomed way out of
proportion. Someone, who rarely posts, fires off the entitlement email
because Scott, Woody and Keith are frustrated with Gators performance. BTW,
the aforementioned poster, has not posted since posting his entitlement post
except for one quick retort to Woody, that sent Woody on a walk about. Then
Scott, Woody, and Keith, assume that entitlement poster speaks for all of us
on Gator Talk and take exception and viola' here we are. My personal
opinion is we all could use a little better understanding of the fact that
no one person on this list speaks for all, no matter which opinion they may
hold. Terms like I think or my opinion is are much easier to relate to than
generalization as Gator Nation, everybody, or anybody. No one wants words
put in their mouths or, heaven forbid, have their Gator loyalty questioned.
I am not the biggest fan of the wording of some of the posts posted on
GatorTalk, but I will defend anyone's right to post whatever they feel,
within GatorTalk 's stated guidelines. Anytime you get a group of people
together to discuss anything you will have different opinions, very few
opinions will be changed on the spot, however you may be able to start the
process of change by giving someone something else to consider.

Who has done that? Even those of us who have said we're happy with a 4-0
season and the team is performing at about the level we expected have
acknowledged repeatedly that there is room for improvement. Of course there

is. These are young men who have a lot to learn. No one has denied that.

I don't know how disagreement with what someone wrote has come to be seen as

personal attacks. Other than the "Pollyanna" label, which the Pollyannas
among us bear proudly, I haven't seen any name-calling. I like reading the
different perspectives and opinions, and I'd hate to think that any of us
are not free to disagree with anything said here.

I can tell you guys are nervous as cats on a hot tin roof right now,
anticipating and even dreading the Bama game. That kind of anxiety always
manifests itself in a big meltdown here on GatorTalk. Always has. Y'all
chill out. Have a beer or something. Stop being so touchy.

Cee
