I cannot argue with you on any of this... I honestly don't know what we can do
to get better.  Seems to be so many things to improve on, but you can certainly
argue for passion and intensity.

The O-line is not what any of us expected.  That is the fundamental basis of
our
offense.  Zone blocking, reads, and bigger, meaner players.  I don't see it.
The misdirections does not work.  Its obvious.  We don't line up for hard
nosed,
3 yards and a cloud of dust because we CAN'T!  That is a huge testament to the
confidence the Offense Coordinator has in his own positional responsibilities.
He doesn't even trust them to open up a hole for 2 yards, thus all the gimmick
Burton plays and wildcat crap.

Its sad, really... we were led to believe we are stacked and loaded on offense
but just not proven.  I am beginning to see why we are not proven.

Maybe this is the REAL reason we closed practices... If everyone is so
convinced
Meyer is in full control and knows what is going on, maybe he saw this and
tried
to hide it?  Maybe he realized we were WAY over rated and hoped we would come
together and become a unit?  I don't know...

We can still win the East.  I will be at the SoCar game.  It should be great,
but it could be equally disappointing.

I am still a proud Gator, but I don't make excuses... just like I don't make
excuses for the football team I coach.  We missed the playoffs by one game, and
we had some unfortnate breaks.  Could we do better?  Surely.  Is it easy? No.
The players have to want it and have a lot to overcome, but they need
confidence
instilled from the coaching staff.  They need belief in themselves and in the
system by those in charge.

We are hurting in so many positions.  RB is dangerously thin.  OL is thin and
hurting, QB is an obvious concern and we STILL haven't found a play maker.

And we won't.  PERIOD.  Until Brantley can develop confidence in his O-line, he
won't find a playmaker.  There is no time.  He can't wait for anything to
develop, he must check down and checking down takes away the playmakers-- that
is what the defense is TRYING to do.

I don't envy Meyer's positon.  I would HATE to be in Adazzio's shoes.  Maybe
they are the victim's of terrible luck and circumstances, but they are paid a
lot to overcome.

I am NOT calling for anyone's job.  I believe in these coaches, but I am not
sure this team does...

All along I have been defending this team, figuring they just needed to jell
and by this point in the season we would be cruising.  Even after last week,
I thought it was our mistakes that Bama took advantage of to win.  But after
this week I am moving closer to Scott's position.

The coaching is abhorent, the players intensity is terrible and we are still
making too many mistakes.  I am tired of Adazzio telling us this is one of
the best o lines in the country.  It isn't even close, in fact there are
probably 10 DII lines better.  We can't pass protect, we can't open holes
for runs, but we can pull our center just like a guard for whatever good
that does us.

This season is not over, we still control our destiny as far as the SEC
goes, but we need to fix lots of things now.  I am not sure it isn't a good
idea for Urban to take over play calling responsibility, because we are way
too predictable.  As far as our D goes, our sole mission on that last drive
had to be keep everything in front of you.  Horrible.

Congrats to LSU, they came in and played their best game of the year.

What good does that do for winning a game or fixing our obvious problems?
Can you contribute to the playcalling or the defensive play with those years
of experience?

Congratulations Leon, you are an old Gator fan.  That and 99 cents will get
you coffee at McDonald's. Want a cookie with that?  Oh wait, I've only been
a gator fan for 30+ plus years... I guess you are better... but then I can
get a coffee for 99 cents too.

What is your point?!?  Are you claiming to be more of a Gator?  Really?
Really...?

Please...

You are no better.  We are all Gators.  We see things differently, some
settle for less, some expect more.  No reason to look down on others because
you have been around longer.  You think have some special entitlement or is
that just reserved for "newer" gators?  Would we not welcome a recent
graduate here???  Do we even have any???  Or have we run them off with
comments like yours?

60 year fan?  Grow up.
