Yes it is a dangerous path. It really would suck if the player in fact
has no knowledge and his own father ruined his career, wouldn't it?

Personally, if they find that Cam's dad had solicited payment to play
for anyone, they should throw the book at Cam. Otherwise, that's
setting a dangerous precedent for people doing things on the player's
behalf and allowing the player to simply say "I never knew anything
about it". Not where they should be going.

And I'd be saying the same thing if it were Ryan Mallett instead of
Cam. This is just a dangerous path to go down.
