Parsons to practice, could play vs. UGA

Parsons, who suffered a deep thigh bruise Feb. 12 against Tennessee, went through an individual workout pain-free on Tuesday and will try to practice on Wednesday, Donovan said. "If that goes well, I don't anticipate him starting tomorrow, but I would anticipate playing him if things went well (Wednesday) in practice because he has made some good strides and has made some positive strides," Donovan said. The 6-foot-10 Parsons missed his first career game Sunday at LSU. Parsons is averaging 10.8 points, 7.7 points and 3.6 assists for the Gators this season. Donovan said he is leaning toward sticking with freshman forward Casey Prather to start for Parsons. Prather started for Parsons against LSU, finishing with 0 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal in 15 minutes. Donovan said the 6-6 Prather presents a better size matchup against 6-4 Georgia forward Travis Leslie.
