The news report I read made it sound like a typical GDP case of overcharging - he cut a barrier on his scooter and didn't want to provide ID to an officer, saying he was late, and the confrontation escalated to him brushing away the officer's attempt to hold him up. I won't defend him not taking care of his traffic violations, but come on - I hear about this kind of stuff far too often, and not just with UF athletes. I suspect he will plead no contest to some reduced charges, but yeah, he's gonna miss some games. I'm so glad he's not a starter.
