I don't want F$U to be able to benefit from the prestige of playing in the best football conference in the country. If they did, they might actually get people to start showing up to more than one or two games each year.
________________________________ I have the same philosophy, that I should cheer for conference teams, but I already break that rule for the UGAly ones, so I could just add a second exception. The upside is that F$U wouldn't get to beat a bunch of patsies, then claim they deserve to play for the MNC. They would have to navigate a brutal SEC schedule, and would have to go through us to even win a conference championship. I'd much rather have VaTech, but I could live with it if F$U joined. I don't think either one will, though.
