Assuming an oath was given, it is perjury if the untrue statement is about a 
material fact. Otherwise it is lying under oath.

Strange that the statement itself, or why it was false is never mentioned.

Typically, one would think that lying on a police report is obstruction of 
justice.

Even if true, that's also a new one. Resisting without violence is sitting on 
the courthouse steps in protest and refusing to move, even when told you are 
under arrest.

Here, Reid is already arrested, in the squad car, and on the way to the 
hoosegow. Making a threat against an officer could be assault if credible, but 
I'm puzzled as to how it is resisting arrest. Telling an officer that you plan 
to harm his family does seem to be a crime, but not this one.
