First of all, if by "class act all the way" you mean "cheats with impunity - always has and always will" then I agree with you about Bama. :) But as far as whom to root for today. If Oliver can't sway you, maybe you should consult with SOS (aka "the greatest Gamecock, er, Gator ever) and see who he's pulling for. Steve Mc
_____ Shhh! Don't tell Oliver I'm asking this question. It may destroy the already fragile opinion he has of me. J The two overall teams I hate most in the world in UGA and FSU. Hands down. Never have pulled for them to win at ANYTHING and NEVER could imagine ANY situation that I would even cheer for them. Now, let's narrow this down to the SEC. The teams I hate the most in the SEC are UGA and LSU and then followed closely by Auburn. Sorry to the 'Bama haters. Never have been able to hate 'em. Class act all the way. So. UGA and LSU are playing this afternoon. Should be a good game, although I DO expect the mangy mutts to be beat over the head with their food dish and whipped with their leash. Good football stuff. There are lots of good reasons to cheer, or at the very least, PULL for UGA. They are the underdawg (pun intended), as well as the SEC East representative. However, five decades of hate, bitterness and resentment is a hard pill to swallow. Obviously for us, it is a "meteorite" game, but just in case it skips Atlanta and crashes harmlessly into Washington, DC, who are we cheering for today? In 2002, I cheered for Arkansas, but in 2003 & 2005, I boycotted the SECCG completely and refused to watch it. However, in a down year for the gators, I NEED to watch some good football. I told my wife over breakfast that she could POSSIBLY see me do something today I've never done before and hopefully, will never have the occasion to do again. Just pray for me, brothas and sistas.
