I'm pretty sure that Pantoni left UF to be director of football operations (same position he held here).
Marotti (not Mariotti, the former NFL coach!), will be S&C coach at OSU - Meyer loves him in that role. It was unclear if our players were not being developed well, or just not in the same "direction" (e.g. lean and fast vs bulky and strong), but I hear that Muschamp was shocked at the condition of our players when they showed up for spring ball, especially the OLmen. ________________________________ From: Scott Lucas I'm going to tend to trust our head coach and the S&C's boss on this one... clearly Muschamp doesn't think we were strong enough or tough enough. He said that many times recently... and that all lands directly at Mariotti's feet. Also, the rumor is that Mariotti will be the Director of Football Operations and not the S&C coach at OSU... also very interesting if he was such a great coach in the weight room. Maybe Meyer sees it now too. -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us
