I hope this is not her make or break year. They've been short-handed the last two games (Jennifer George out, Jaterra Bonds with a nagging leg injury) and she's brought in a couple of transfers that are really going to make a difference once they can get on the court -- next year. This is also a very young team, where even the juniors haven't seen much playing time before this year. They nearly beat Tennessee a short few games ago (with a healthy Bonds and George for 1/2 the game). Freshman Sydney Moss shows continual improvement and will be something special, and freshman Carlie Needles will be great from the 3-pt line but needs to really, really work on her defense.
These two games have been very painful, indeed, but I think Amanda needs at least one more year.
