I think it's been mentioned before, but I can't remember so I thought I would go over Clay Helton's connections to UF.
His father is Kim Helton, who is from West Florida, and played at UF in the 60's for Ray Graves.he went on to be the OL coach under Doug Dickey and also several NFL teams, when Spurrier left UF for the Redskins, he hired Kim Helton to be his OL coach. He's also a member of the UF Athletic Hall of Fame. I have no idea if Clay Helton would be a good hire or not, but given his father's history, he certainly knows the history and expectations of UF.
