Hi,
 
Its a horribel experience and can be avoided with a few precautions :
 
1. Meet only in public place and plan a sitdown talk if the person cleares the first stage. Have a tea/coffee.
 
2. Avoid a immediate plan to bed.....and if you have freinds, try to ckec about him. Its a world where a little patience pays.
 
3. Make support groups of people who may not be visible or closset but can be relied upon for support and advice.
 
4. Make freinds , they last long and can provide better introductions, then hunting.
 
My suggestions may sound general or stupid, but they are from my expereince with 3 incidents......and the above things did payoff.
