Once again you've ignored me
Treated me like I just wasn't there
Yet am I again over reacting?
Do you honestly really care?
You say you'll be gone for a few days
Now weeks and months have slipped by
I'm not one to simply pace the floors
Alone in my room for yet another silent cry...
I try how I try to put on a brave face
Yet someone always seems to push me
Out of my place
Back to the end of the line
To quiver with the cast offs
Except that I refuse to shiver
I'm not like all the other Fakers
I've always been a persistent Giver
You asked me for a point of view
Then you look straight through me
I'm raising my hand
I'm not taking a stand
I won't follow the leader
Or give in to useless demands
I'll stand on my own two feet
I'll even go it alone
The ghosts that echo through out this house
Crumbling dust and bone
Turn off that ringer
And disconnect that annoying phone
And if you could simply look me in the eyes
What exactly would you see?

Your best laid plans gone completely astray
