A single tear ran down my cheek,
As I prayed to God your soul to keep,
As I kissed your lips and held you tight
I prayed to God with all my might
I asked him why my love is gone
Why you left me, so sad and alone
And so now I want to leave this place
And be with you, to forever embrace
And so in heaven together well be
Always, forever, just you and me
And my tears run down to you
Reminding me youre crying too
And then I close my eyes and I can see
Please wrap your arms around me
Please hold me close
Please wrap your wings around me
Never let me go
I can feel your hand touch my cheek
And you support me, as I grow weak
Lost in a moment, time stands still
Heaven surrounds me, because youre here
Passion overflowing, comfort and serenity
Holding you close in sweet tranquility
So go to Jesus and wait for me
Until together forever we shall be
