Dear friends
I was in Germany last week, first time after my return ten years back. It was a pleasure and took the chance to meet a lot of old friends. I friend of mine had a boy friend who was 15 years elder to him and also HIV positive when they met. This did not affect their relation. Now they are together for more than 15 years, in a society where even heterosexual marriages do not last that long. After the law permitted, they got maried two years back. HIV status does not bother my friend because he feels gay relation is much more than just sex.
I was just wondering when the gay community in this country will develop this level of maturity. When are we going to come out of postings describing stats and asking for only "smart and handsome guys" or "young guys". I think in general majority of Indians believe on only superficial things and not values. This is true for everything we do.
Anyway let us hope for better
