Make this the year you add porn writer to your resume. Send in your
erotic entries for the 5 th volume of Sanghamitra, the Good As You
newsletter.
Tell us a story and turn us on while you're at it. Good As You turned
12 this month and we want the next issue of the newsletter to reflect
this sexual coming of age. So sex it up and make it short (less than
2000 words). If fiction isn't your style, then send us that sexual
encounter you narrate, with embarrassing detail, when you get a little
high. Don't feel daunted. We know sex is one of the hardest subjects
to write about. But then, the most naïve writing on sex can excite
us like nothing else can.
We are also open to poetry, short essays and reviews of books and films
with queer subjects. Also if you sketch, paint or photograph, do send
us good quality digital images of your work. Preferably ones that have
the erotic as a theme. Need more pics has been the chorus in the
suggestion box.
Deadline: If I say next week will you turn it in by March 30th 2006 ?
Pointers: Looking for diversity and freshness. Think bondage,
fetishism, etc. Experiment with styles/genres- journal entry, science
fiction and letters are some suggestions.
Rules: Well… this is a creative space for the alphabet soup people
to express themselves - LGBTHKQC (where C stands for confused), . Also
welcome to send if you're the I-don't-like-labels person. If possible
do send us a short write-up about yourself - not mandatory but we'd love
it.
