Police now believe the absconding killer is a homosexual who had sex with the victims before hitting them on the head with a blunt weapon, which led to their deaths.
Added a police official from the Dindoshi police station, "Two cases have been reported where he did not have sex with the victims, one of them is the recent Dindoshi case. All the victims were Muslims." Ninety policemen have been deployed in the investigation to nab the suspect they believe is in his early thirties. The police sketch (above) was prepared on the basis of reports from locals at Azad Maidan and Marine Drive who had seen the man with some of the victims. However, the Dindoshi cops are ruling out the possibility of the murder at Santosh Nagar in Malad (see box) by the serial killer as they suspect the victim's brothers. Said PI N Londe of Dindoshi police station, "The seven brothers called Bahadur mian ke bete, are not willing to identify the victim, but we are very sure of they are the murderers."
