If you are comfortable with traveling short trip then lonaval would be great. You can stay @ basilica resort (refer - http://www.basilicaholidayhome.com/lonavala.asp). I and my partner recently spent a weekend there and food+accomodation is really good.
Other way round you can go to kelwa beach or even better mount view resort in vasai (refer - http://www.themumbaimall.com/mumbai/mountview/).
