GB celebrates Holi at Juhu Beach Day & Date: Sunday, 20 March 2011
Time: 11:30 am onwards Venue: Meeting Point: The Shivaji statue near The Ramada Palm Grove. The statue is just off the main beach. Later on the beach Cover: Free Entry. For those who have never experienced Holi on Juhu beach get set for a wild and fun-filled day. Juhu beach has always been a favourite destination for Mumbai-ites on Holi. The sea turns a deep shade of red that morning as gulal-smeared young men throw off their clothes and plunge into the waters in huge numbers. Look for a bunch of guys at least one of whom will be wearing a GB T-shirt or GB hat. If you are late look for us on the beach and in the water nearby! Note : 1. Do get your friends along to help them gain access to a group especially if they are not netizens. 2. You do not have to be "out" to the world to attend. This is a discreet event being held as a clean, safe & social get-together of a non-sexual nature. Hardly any of those attending are "out" as such. 3. You need to be at least 18 years of age to attend. 4. There may be many who will prefer being discreet or may be still be coming to terms with themselves hence a request that all be sensitive to this and act and dress accordingly. 5. To identify the group look out for someone wearing a black cap ---------------------------------------------------------- This event is organised by: http://www.gaybombay.org Right of admission reserved.
