Have you seen a str8 girl, stating that she want to settle down with an ugly looking guy, or if the guy is just so so looking, she would be OK with? Have you seen a str8 guy, if given a choice, going for an average looking girl?
So man, if looks are talked about, its common tendency to go for the beauty... (that is a separate issue that what is beauty for an individual) And yes, very few people are there, who settle down based on intellectuality, understanding, compatibility etc. On the first go, almost everyone go for looks, richness, fashion quotient, etc etc. Now a days, if you throw attitude, you are hot...
