I must admit that I have had to return to V3.1.3 since upgrading first to
V3.2.1 and later (when available) to V3.2.4 caused so many problems for
services based on the GB1000 that our production systems were effectively
off the air for the duration of the tests.

Luckily I had a spare GB1000 which I used to test the upgrade - once I
realised that all was not well - I ditched the V3.2.4 for the original
3.1.3 - all was well (once the network had been started from scratch)

I have not yet had the opportunity to test V3.2.5 - that will be sometime in
the next 2-4 weeks, but I have to admit that I don't have much confidence in
V3.2.5 working for me, given the failures of it's predecessors. It is a
shame, as I would like to start using the advanced VPN features that are on
offer - but as I say, it is not possible at the moment - fingers crossed for
V3.2.5.

I have a PSN network that our Protected users copy and ftp through on a
daily basis (upto 1 gig files). and am not seeing the problem on 3.1.3. I
have found the flash I am on as the most stable one. I have upgraded to
3.2.4 and actually had all kinds of problems with my interfaces and moved
back down to 3.1.3.

It start something about 150-200Mb sizes.. so sometimes i have to copy the
same file up to 10 times before i got the whole file over. Nowadays i use to
burn the files down to a CD-Rom and just carry them over.

Hi,

at what filesize do the problems start? I'm running 3.2.4 and use FTP to
copy files between 50~100MB without a problem (from the pro to Internet).
Should I stay away from 3.2.5 until this problem is confirmed and resolved
or is the problem only seen over 300MB?

Benno...
