I find that the Spamcop system has a much lower instance of false
blocking. Their systems block hosts and domains that are actually
sending spam, rather than just targeting open relays. I have had no
incidents where management was upset over missing email since ditching
ORBS/etc. Although, I definitely see more spam get through.

Thanks for the words of caution! Do you feel that spamcop was helpful
on
it's own?
Thanks,

Be careful with the spam filtering. Keep a close eye on the email its
rejecting for a while. I had to drop all of the services except spamcop
as most of them were too overzealous in their blocking. Most businesses
cannot afford to miss any important email.

GnatBox RULES!!!

Based on the advice I got here, I implemented a 48 hour test on one
of my
best test case domains. They were was getting about 80 - 100 SPAMS a day
(very consistently) across just 2 users. Today they got a total of 3.
I
wish it was zero, but that is a MAJOR improvement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the advice Joe (and others).

You may have just made me a star around here! Of course, that means I'm
going to have to get the checkbook out and start donating, because this
service is going to be worth it's weight in Gold to my customers.

Thanks Again!!!!!

-Vaughn
