Sorry, I can't vouch for Kiwi -- I have only done it with logs that were logged to syslogd on a SVR4 UNIX system, using GB-1000 V3.3 and GB-Reports 3.3.
I think you also need to be careful to transfer the files from the UNIX system in ascii mode (not bin).
