GTA's firewalls support PPTP, that is to say allow it to work through the firewall. However the firewall doesn't directly support PPTP. The encryption in PPTP isn't that robust, nor is PPTP that safe.

The firewall does have the full IETF full strength encryption algorithms (DES, 3DES, AES, Blowfish, Twofish, CAST128) as part of the IPSec VPN facility.
