Hi All, I am planning to put a webserver on the DMZ which would need access to a SQL server containing highly confidential data on the Private network. I am rather against opening ports on the firewall to allow traffic flow. Instead I was thinking of physically connecting the webserver and the SQL server through NIC, putting in place MAC address restrictions. Is that good or naive of me!?
