I checked.

One thing you may want to try is putting something into the IP field,
THEN select the DHCP check box.

When I did that, it gave me the correct mask.

If I left the IP filed blank, it did not give the correct mask. I do not
know why.

Subject: [gb-users] Using DHCP on external interface - Default gateway
not working

Hi all..
I got a "little" problem..

our internetprovider on one of our branch offices uses dhcp to
distribuate the
ip number.
oki i think. and put in the dhcp checkbox for the external line, i get
the new
ipadress..

BUT..

the default gateway will not my gnatbox 3.2.7 flash take from the DHCP..
oki.
i think.. and writing in the default gateway manually
it should work i think.. BUT..

i can only surf inside my netmask range.. the default gateway is NOT
working..
hmm.. i think and take away the DHCP.. (i have already get a ip number
from
the dhcp, and put that ip number in)..

oki.. NOW i can surf the web and the default gateway is working..

BUT.. the ISP is so "smart" that if you have not refreshed the DHCP in
20 min
it will simply shut of the connection for you..

so i want DHCP and default gateway to work at the same time.. why does
this
not work???.. it should work..
