First, I set up a tunnel (protocol: TCP, From IP address: SERVICE, port: 12345, To IP address: 192.168.1.1, port: 80), where SERVICE is the Gnatbox address of it's PSN interface (192.168.2.254).
Next, I set up a Remote Access filter that allows access to that protected host (Accept notice "SERVICE" TCP from "Service Hosts" to "SERVICE" port: 12345), where "Service Hosts is 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.22 and SERVICE is 192.168.2.254.
The application we are trying to activate is from our PSN webserver to a protected web server using a URL that includes the port# 12345. The PSN webserver can not find the protected webserver through DNS but I did place the protected webserver in a host file. Our PSN does not have a DNS server. We use a third party DNS server for the outside world and we have an internal DNS server for our protected network users.
The application still seems to be trying to find the protected webserver by going out through the external connection to find it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
