GTA Announces GNAT Box System Software Patch Release 3.4.1 Orlando, FL - November 10, 2003 - GTA released GNAT Box System Software ver 3.4 patch level 1 (ver 3.4.1) on November 10, 2003. This patch release contains minor functionality enhancements and addresses several issues that have been identified since the release of version 3.4.0.
The primary issues addressed include improved functionality for high availability on the GB-750 firewall series; static address mapping; time based filters and GNAT Box Light passing information between internal and external networks. GNAT Box System Software version 3.4 patch level 1 will be available for download through the GTA on-line support center and will shipped preinstalled on new products by November 10, 2003. Customers whose firewalls are currently registered through GTA's on-line support center and have version 3.4.x or a current support contract, may download the latest update at no charge. Other customers should contact GTA sales or their authorized GTA channel partner for purchase options for the version 3.4.1 upgrade. Additionally, GTA released new installers for Global Management System (GMS) version 1.0.1 and GTA Reporting Suite version 1.0.2. These installers will incorporate DBmanager version 1.0.3 and syslog version 1.0.3. These new installers will be denoted by the lower case letter b following the version number and will begin shipping to new customers effective November 10, 2003. GMS version 1.0.1b and GTA Reporting Suite 1.0.2b are available via download through GTA's on-line support center to all current users of GMS or GTA Reporting Suite.
