Hi everyone, No doubt some of you have read in the media or experienced first hand the recent sporadic Denial of Service attacks aimed at online gaming companies (see news links). As a result, some sites have had to take drastic measures, like going offline whilst the attacks were taking place, but this resulted in major loss in revenue. Also in response, some ISPs have had to dramatically lower (cap) the bandwidth fed to these companies so as to minimise the effect on their other clients. Unfortunately the last set of such attacks lasted nearly 60 hours and these measure proved impractical and actually useless. I am especially interested to hear from anyone who has succeeded in putting a workable security measure in place using GTA products to tackle the problem.
