Hi I have just finished trying to get 3.7 running on Dell 1425SC. (QA inspected 31st MAY2005)
You want to avoid using a Dell 1425SC as gbware 3.6.2 and 3.7 bootup detects the drives as ADA4: WDC WD400BD-75LRA0 77504/16/63 at ata2-master \ ADA4: DMA LIMITED UDMA33 But on the install screen you have no options\drives to select besides the <???> One can set the CERC2 SATA controller to RAID or ATA mode. When in RAID mode it doesn't detect ANY drives besides the CDROM I have tried with bios A04 and with two and one SATA drives.... I have 3 camera phone pictures (bad quality) but they are 120k which bounce back on this list as too big. Ditto... We are using the 40G HDD. I don't have the flash module in it, it's just using the 40G SATA drive it ships with. Uptime is 67 days right now. It's got 40G drive, additional Intel gig dual ethernet card (total of 4 ports). It's running great.
