Ok, first you have to make a tunnel (Nat/Inbound tunnels) from your
public www ip address to 192.168.1.23 from port 8080 to port 8080.
Then make a remote access filter (Filters/Remote Access) on the External
interface that allows incoming traffic to port 8080 on your public www
ip address from everyone/all ports.

Subject: Re: [gb-users] Opening port 8080
Hi!
Where is the server located, Lan or Dmz?
Does the server have an internal (for example 192.168.1.X) or public ip
address?

Hi,
I have a webserver that is running on my network.
I am trying to set access for the outside world to connect using port 8080
That port is open on the server, but how can I open it on the gb-1000 I have?
Thanks
Rick
