GTA Announces GB-OS Patch Release 3.7.2 December 21, 2005 - GTA has released GB-OS version 3.7 patch level 2 (ver. 3.7.2) on December 21, 2005. This OS patch release includes support for GTA's new GB-2000X SME firewall along with minor enhancements and fixes for issues identified since the release of GB-OS version 3.7.1.
GTA's new GB-2000X Firewall Appliance expands the GB-2000 firewall family. With six 10/100 Ethernet ports, the GB-2000X was designed for SME businesses with more complex network environments. The GB-2000X hardware can be expanded to up to ten Ethernet ports and/or VPN acceleration. Customers whose firewalls are currently registered through GTA's on-line support center and have version 3.7.x or a current support contract may download the latest update and retrieve required activation codes at no charge.
