GTA is pleased to announce that GB-OS 4.0.0 will be available for
download through the GTA Support Center effective 18 April 2006, and
will ship pre-installed on GTA firewalls effective 20 April 2006.
GB-OS includes both a totally redesigned, updated GUI along with
powerful new features including:
Multi-layered configuration screens
Easy monitoring
Live & Test Configuration Modes
Object Encapsulation
Setup Wizards
Enhanced features include:
VLAN support
DHCP based on MAC address
Group support for security policies
Enhanced LDAP implementation
GB-OS will be available for no charge for those customers who
purchased a firewall on or after 17 Feb 2006, or who have an existing
GTA support contract. All others should contact your local authorized
