Hello Everyone,

In the Users Guide is a Mapping Reference A - GB-OS 3.7 to GB-OS 4.0

https://www.gta.com/downloads/external/40/General/UsersGuide_4.0.pdf

This illustrates where the sections are moved to.

For example -

Basic -> Configuration -> Network information

Now:

Configuration -> Network -> Settings

Upgrade guides can be found at -

Regards,

David

Hi there,

There has been quite a bit of usability changes in GBOS4

The old gbware 3.x version one was able to search
Within the pass-through filters (ctrl-F) for IP's to save time.

In version 4 it just displays a line like

Example 4.x
<ICMP> Eric to any

Or in Policies - [Activity -> Security Policies -> Policies or how it used
to in 3.x?
1 0 Accept warning ANY <ANY_SERVICE> from 192.168.1.1 to <ANY_IP>
coalesce(all)

Example 3.x
# ANY ICMP TYPE 11
Accept notice ANY ICMP nolog trafficShaping <DEFAULT> weight 5 from
<ANY_IP> 11 to <ANY_IP> 11

It appears that we can no longer specify a src port or src port range?
How would one permit the above rule?

Regards
Eric
