Can anyone help me configure my GB-250 to allow the Mail Sentinel Anti-Virus updates to occur?
Documentation simply says that Mail Sentinel uses port 443 to obtain updates securely. Logs show this at regular intervals: Jun 26 14:59:09 pri=5 msg="SMTP: Loaded Anti-Virus rules (2006-6-26)" proto=smtp Jun 26 14:58:41 pri=5 msg="SMTP: Anti-Virus file unp033.avc needs fetching" proto=smtp Jun 26 14:58:39 pri=5 msg="SMTP: Anti-Virus file daily.avc needs fetching" proto=smtp Jun 26 14:58:37 pri=5 msg="SMTP: Anti-Virus file daily-ex.avc needs fetching" proto=smtp Jun 26 14:58:37 pri=5 msg="SMTP: Downloading Anti-Virus rules" proto=smtp At approximately the same time this is recorded: Jun 26 14:59:37 pri=4 flt_type=RAF flt_action=block count=28 msg="Block RAF" duration=38 rule=17 proto=1083/tcp src=199.120.225.11 srcport=443 dst=(my.fw.addr) dstport="1083 (7), 3990 (7), 3155 (7), 3652 (7)" interface=sis1 attribute="alarm" flags=0x19 which seems to imply that the update is not completing. But perhaps I have the wrong end of the stick?
