Is there a way to check the NIC statistics for port errors such as CRCs, over-runs, etc? It seems like I'm running into a lot of problems lately with some devices that only work error free with auto-negotiation on and others with the port settings hard coded. I currently have a performance issue somewhere and would like to verify that the NICs in my GB-Ware system are happy with their current settings.
