Hello, I have been informed that the logging of sent= / rcvd= is enabled and working by default, which is the case here.
Quote: M. "It's included in the logs by default; with GB-OS 4.0.X you can enable this under configuration -> security policies -> preferences -> advanced -> default logging -> tunnel closes." The question now is why is Reporting Suite not using this data? Is this a bug in GTA-RS 2.0.2? Looking at the logs I see that the sent= / recv= fields are in the lines: Jun 5 15:07:23 pri=6 msg="proxy: Connect" src=192.168.xx.xx srcport=2045 dst=xxx.xx.10.251 dstport=443 sent=0 rcvd=72 proto=http though all these lines are skype access. The Web access lines are like: Jun 5 15:17:31 pri=5 msg="Accept proxyWWW" cat_action=pass src=192.168.xx.xx dst=199.120.225.2 op=GET cat_site="Computing & Internet" dstname=www.gta.com arg=/ proto=http Which do not have any sent= / recv= parts to their lines. Trying out many of the RS reports, none of them are returning any data for the bytes sent / byte recieved / bytes total columns. Many Thanks, William. > -----Original Message----- > From: William de Sausmarez > Sent: 05 June 2007 14:11 > To: '[email protected]' > Subject: Bandwidth Reports in Reporting Suite > > Hello, > > How is bytes sent/received aka bandwidth populated in the Reporting Suite reports? > The log entries from the firewall do not seem to contain this information, is there a setting somewhere that I am overlooking in the firewall & manuals? > > Many Thanks, > > William. ------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive: http://archives.gnatbox.com/gb-users/
