You're on the right path.. That is IPv6 traffic via IP Protocol 41, not TCP Port 41.
IP Protocol 6 = TCP
IP Protocol 17 = UDP
*IP Protocol 41 = IPv6*

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone might be able to shed light on this issue.

Has anyone seen Vista clients attempting to connect to domains on port
41, Via port 0?

The protocol is listed in GB Admin as p=41 under active connections, the
source port as 0 and the destination as 0.
Yet on the destination side the packets are dropped and listed as
incoming on port 41? (we were alerted by the admin of the destination
side, the Cisco IOS is reporting port 41)

An example of the filter email being received is below as I'm now
blocking the outgoing requests.
I have a feeling this is down to IPV6 but not 100%

The local machines in question are Vista Ultimate.
