GTA has released GB-OS v5.3.1

Firewall Administrators using the automatic update facility may update now via the firewall web interface. For those administrators wishing to update manually the downloads will be available in the GTA Online Support Center later today, 2010-04-08.

Important Pre-Requisites for version 5.3.0 and above for firewalls on version 5.2 and below:

* All Firewalls upgrading to version 5.3.0 or later must be on version 5.2.X. * GB-250 Revision B firewalls must be on Bios version 0.99h or later in order to upgrade. For more information on your GB-250 firewall go to BIOS Update Information Page http://online.gta.com/gb-os/bios-update.
*  GB-250 Revision B firewalls should be upgraded from slice 2.

GB-OS v5.3.1: Includes the following updates and features in addition to others:

- XAuth Support added for Mobile IPSec Clients.
- Mobile IPSec Clients may authenticate against LDAP and Radius.
- IPSec Client Policies are dynamically generated and can be download from the firewall.
- Updates to the SSL Sentinel Browser and Client Service.
- Firewall remains operational when saving supernetted VPN's.
- Improved USB Key Block Support.
- Updates to the Web Administration Interface
- Updates to VPN failover service
- Updates to the Gateway Failover service
- Updates for VPN's to non-GTA

Important Upgrade Notice: The upgrade may take 5-8 minutes to reboot and fully update once the runtime has been applied. DO NOT switch off or reboot the firewall during this process.

GB-OS 5.3.1 will be available via automatic upgrade feature for GTA Firewall UTM systems running GB-OS 5.0 or higher, or via download from the GTA Online Support Center that are covered by a current maintenance or support contract.
