Hello All,
GTA has released GB-OS v6.1.0. Firewall Administrators using the
automatic update facility may update now via the firewall web interface.
For those administrators wishing to update manually, the download
installers will be available in the GTA Online Support Center.
Important Pre-Requisites for version 5.3.0 - 6.1.0 and above for
firewalls on version 5.1 and below:
* All Firewalls upgrading to version 6.1.0 or later must be on version
6.0.X.
* GB-250 Revision B firewalls must be on Bios version 0.99h or later in
order to upgrade. For more information on your GB-250 firewall go to
BIOS Update Information Page.
* GB-250 Revision B firewalls should be upgraded from slice 2. For more
information on your GB-250 firewall go to GB-250 Rev B Upgrade Information.
GB-OS v6.1.0: Includes the following updates and features in addition
to others:
* GB-250 Revision A firewalls are not supported in GB-OS version 6.1.0
and above. To determine if your GB-250 firewall is Rev A or Rev B:
GB-250 Rev A firewalls do not have USB
ports, while GB-250 Rev B firewalls do have USB ports. GB-250 Rev B
serial numbers are 65002101 and above, and 65902101 and above.
*Added ability to use objects that hold domain or host names.
*Added the ability to specify the destination network for IP Pass Through.
*Added country code white list object.
*Added ability to limit static mapping based upon destination address.
*Added option to configure BGP neighbor weight.
*Updated Email Proxy.
*Updated Content Filtering.
*Updated IPS Service & Configuration Options.
*Updated syslog service and log files.
*Added graphs for Web Content Filtering statistics.
*Added country identification flags throughout web interface.
*Updated USB and Cloud Back Up Services.
*Improved filters for viewing active connections.

Important Upgrade Notice: The upgrade may take 5-8 minutes to reboot and
fully update once the runtime has been applied. DO NOT switch off or
reboot the firewall during this process.

GB-OS 6.1.0 will be available via automatic upgrade feature for GTA
Firewall UTM systems running GB-OS 5.0 or higher, or via download from
the GTA Online Support Center that are covered by a current maintenance
