First, a hardware failure is possible - usually just re-trying may fix the
problem or make it show up somehow different / somewhere else, if this is the
case.  Second, your gcc 3.4.2 is outdated, please update to a more recent
version, like
3.4.4.

Also be sure to include preprocessed source with the bugreport, the information
you gave sofar is useless to us.
