> found the binutils snapshots Looking at your report, I see that you configured with GNU ld. Don't use it, it needs work. HP as isn't usable with C++, and hasn't been tested in a long time. Use GAS and HP ld. You don't need "-mpa-risc-2-0 -fPIC". This is the default for this target. Sample configure commands for successful builds can be found in <http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/>.
