------- Comment #11 from craigwd2000 at gmail dot com 2006-09-06 02:43 ------- I just tried building GCC 4.1.1 with the following options: I ran ../configure --enable-threads --x-includes=/usr/X11R6 --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6 --with-mpfr=/usr/local/lib --with-gmp=/usr/local/lib from ~/Desktop/Downloads/GCC/gcc-4.1.1/gcc/objdir. I ran make bootstrap & got the following errors: make[1]: *** No rule to make target `dummy-checksum.c', needed by `dummy-checksum.o'. Stop. make: *** [stage1_build] Error 2. I'm still using GCC 4.0.1 for compiling.
