thus, I currently assume that this is somehow related to undocumented/unchecked prerequisites/dependencies not being checked properly-so that gcc is attempted to built even though a dependency isn't satisfied, is there anywhere a list of minimum requirements for building gcc 4.2, so that I can check whether (and what) I should update if necessary? -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29049
