The errors go away if I disable HAVE_LD_EH_GC_SECTIONS. I think this feature exposes a binutils in handling pc-relative relocations when this feature is enabled. In particulary, it appears the offset to the lsda data is wrong. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29639
